Welcome to the FEARLESS Brand Edge—your bi-weekly dose of bold insights for fearless brands.
Let’s start with some truth: being fearless isn’t about the absence of fear – it’s about choosing bold action in the face of it.
FEARLESS Brand Marketing was born from experiencing firsthand how fear-based decisions harm organizations:
Contrast that by defining what bold, intentional risk-taking looks like:

I launched FEARLESS to help brands move beyond that fear, empowering them to make confident, strategic decisions that drive real impact. My mission? To help companies ditch fear-based behaviors and embrace a bold, fearless approach to marketing.
I am a brand builder and marketer, leveraging creativity, positivity, and energy in everything I do. At Leo Burnett and Energy BBDO, I learned about the importance of understanding what matters to people, building distinctive brand strategies from that meaning, and then bringing them to life in attention-getting and highly memorable ways.
At Energy BBDO, I also learned the importance of supporting one another. Of truly being there for each other. The 19 years I spent there made an imprint on my heart and soul that will always be with me. Most importantly, Energy BBDO taught me that real fearlessness comes from authentic leadership, empathy, and resilience – not bravado. The thing about naming your company FEARLESS is that you have no choice but to be FEARLESS every day. There are many days I wake up and wonder, What did I do? Wouldn’t it be easier to just go get a grown-up job and collect a nice, reliable paycheck every day?
But then I remember, the ones who came before me… my inspiration…
Vera Wang who launched her business at 40s
Julia Child, who launched her culinary career in her late 30s
Sara Blakely, who started Spanx with $5000 of her own dollars and bootstrapped her entire way there to.
And Beyoncé, who fearlessly reinvented herself, dropping surprise albums in genres where she didn’t initially feel welcomed.
At the end of April, the NY Times wrote an op-ed about how Fear is dominating American behavior both psychologically, economically, and in business. Are you wondering how to identify fear-based behaviors in your organization or in your life? Here is a tool that will help you identify the behavioral signs as well as ways to stop those behaviors, creating environments where boldness and creativity can flourish.
